Morgan’s Wonderland
I want to tell you about a very special place in Texas. The place is Morgan’s Wonderland. It’s a theme park, including a water park, that’s perfect for me since it’s fully accessible for people with physical and intellectual limitations.
They have amusement park rides, a sensory room, arts & crafts, a fishing pond, gymnasium, train, a water park, and more. I’m able to access everything directly in my wheelchair. For the water park, they have a concierge that provides me with the correct size water-safe chair.
One of my favorite things about it is that everyone loves it here, not just people with disabilities.It’s the first place where my little sister stole me from mom and dad. She pushed me through the water park together. I’m not sure if it was to have sister time or take revenge by soaking me for all the times I hit, bit, or screamed at her. But I know that it’s a memory I won’t forget.
