Welcome to my first blog post. My name is Sara, and I have FOXG1 syndrome. You can read more about me here.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like if someone had to do basic things for you? Like brushing your teeth and hair, taking a bath, feeding, moving, sitting, standing, communicating, scratching an itch, … My dad’s best friend thinks it would be great, and maybe you would too for a short time. Luckily there are a lot of helpful devices and people that keep me active and included in everyday activities just like my friends. Take a look at some of the things that help me through the day.
I would love to read your comments, questions and suggestions. Maybe you can even share your experiences on how you stay active!
Let me know if you see something in the pictures you would like me to write more about in the future.
Remember the time we went hiking in Blowing Rock, NC? You were a bit smaller then, but those trails were still pretty dicey and you and your dad had to navigate them with your trike. The scenery was worth it tho!

Indeed I do remember. That trip was the last time I was on an airplane until recently. That was a great trip. I miss my aunts, uncles and cousins.
